Yuji I Hara (Guitar)

Rotten Dan (Harmonica and vocals) and

Joey Tom Tom Macintyre (Guest Drummer)

What more can I say about these two fine blues artists? They have both gained ground and a reputation on the blues scene through their diligent hard work to get out there on the scene and perform in front of thousands of appreciative blues fans, mostly throughout Alberta and B.C. Very well known through their work and live performances with their band The Boogie Patrol, these two keep extremely busy.

Dan - is spoken of very highly as the real deal frontman vocalist harmonica player. He started out appearing at The Blues on Whyte jam with his harp and raw southern sounding Joe Cocker voice, where he connected with the right people and fan base. His live performances are very live and gutsy gettin' any room he appears in hopping.

Yuji - Edmonton is the lucky city that Yuji decided to move to from Osaka Japan, and since day one on stage this bluesman has been recognized and spoken of as a real deal blues guitarist. Also one who visited the Blues on Whyte regularly, Yuji,s career started to swell. He started getting hired on by acts such as The Donald Ray Johnson band, Sam Cockrell band and Big Dave Maclean to name a few fine Canadian and American blues icons. I always get excited when we have Yuji and Dan in and gotta love the crowds response and support of these two great young blues artists. Keep an eye and ear out for The Boogie Patrol and go out and buy their two CDs. I guarantee your blues music satisfaction.

Joey - has always been a drummer that I keep a close eye on. He plays with a different style leading with his left hand on the hi-hat which has been his signature style since his young days. I remember iconic Canadian drummer Stu Mitchell and I watching Joey play and the comments Stu made about Joey's style and history behind the kit, said it all about this fine drummer. Power, stamina, and a total pro approach to his craft with a very really cool knack for styles ranging from country to blues and rock and jazz are on his reputation list of goods. One of Alberta's busy performers behind the kit, you can catch Joey sitting in with many big name acts at major festivals and locally with The Gords, The Band Vaugeois and The Fender Benders to name a few.
