Who Knew Dolphins Could Surf?

We’ve been told many times that Dolphins are among the smartest of animals.
Stories abound of their exploits with navies around the world in retrieving items from the ocean floor well out of reach of scuba divers.
And many have been to sea world type places to see them perform for the crowd.
But who knew they surf for the fun of it when in the wild?
This collection of photos taken off the coast of South Africa show the surfing waves as high as 25 feet.
And without a board too.
