Don - I don't know if
you've seen this
yet, but our taxes
are going up even more than was first thought.
It's crazy! I don't know how much longer I can afford to live here!

Well Please Don't, if you want the truth, enough will come when citizens revolt in sufficient numbers to force council to budget a zero increase for 2009. They must show some restraint and leadership if they are to regain the confidence of we who elected them.
But it will take a backbone from citizens to effect any change and hiding behind a “No Name” does not help. People need to develop the guts to stand up and be heard by their real names. You know, the one on the tax notice you can no longer afford. I do it every day here.
As it sits now, they are viewed as a bumbling bunch who favour subsidizing $ervu$ Place on the back of the poor as a playground for the rich.
The whole bunch of them deserve to be tossed out on their sorry butts if they dare to raise taxes as much as those in administration are suggesting.
I too have had it with this tax and grab gang of n’er do wells.
